The 2022 Partner Summit turned up the heat, igniting growth and opportunity amongst BigCommerce partners. After a small intermission from in-person events, this year’s Partner Summit reemerged bigger and better than ever, cultivating a massively successful hybrid event.
With Austin’s downtown skyline serving as the backdrop, the JW Marriott buzzed with 500 agency and technology partners from all over the world, all eager to engage, learn and converse about all things ecommerce.
The event’s packed agenda offered more than 15 sessions throughout the day featuring a diverse mix of keynotes, panels and breakout sessions. This year’s theme, “Ignite Growth – The Future of Ecommerce is Now,” brought forward-thinking insights, diving headfirst into today’s most relevant ecommerce topics.
To kick things off, BigCommerce presented its first-ever Humanitarian of the Year award to Mira Commerce for developing Mira Action Inc., a nonprofit organization providing aid in response to the crisis in Ukraine.
In addition to breakout sessions covering key topics like designing for the future of ecommerce and building strong partnerships, the audience also tuned into presentations from the noteworthy BigCommerce leadership team and even heard from BigCommerce merchants, Lammes Candies, Heat Transfer Warehouse, Saddleback Leather, Music Direct, who shared their B2B merchant stories.
In the spirit of this year’s concept, BigCommerce customer, Ink Custom Tees, printed branded tees on site, giving attendees an opportunity to flaunt their futuristic-themed BigCommerce merch.
Local musical favorite, Los Coast, also delivered a funky blast of psychedelic-pop-soul in the closing party performance. With an open dance floor and a Frito pie (a Texan staple) in hand, the conference closed in groovy style.
BigCommerce was proud to partner with an exceptional group of sponsors to put on this year’s Partner Summit:
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s conference a massive success, especially our agency and tech partners who have helped BigCommerce build a world-class partner ecosystem of leading designers, developers and marketers. Together, BigCommerce and our partners are helping brands innovate and succeed for a better tomorrow.
